Christmas Trees in North Carolina Capital Buidling

News

This year the holiday decorations inside the North Carolina State Capitol building reflected an agricultural theme and were created by the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.  “The state’s Christmas tree growers spend all year working with their crops to make sure our holiday decorations are beautiful, whether it’s at your home or the State Capitol,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler.

This year, the rotunda tree showcased the diversity of agriculture in North Carolina.  Decorations representing fruits and vegetables grown in the state adorned the 12-foot tree.
